Amazing historical monument . Ver well preserved . Do ensure you climb to the top tip if you are scared of narrow pathways a and stairs stay away it’s a very steep and high rise stair set . Elderly with knee or leg pain stay away as you cannot return as it a one way stair once started will have to go to the top . Once on top will have to return as well . The view from the top is magnificent. And is worth all the efforts . The surrounding is packed with shops and sellers . There is a tea shop do get tea from there and the famous Hyderabad biscuits . There is a mix biscuits box which has all the flavors . They do t allow bags so either don’t take bags or sacs else keep it as the deposit station for 20 rs an hour . It’s a no vehicle done do have to park a bit far and then walk .

Charminar is a true icon of Hyderabad and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city's rich history. This historic monument, with its distinctive architecture and cultural significance, is a sight to behold. However, my recent visit to Charminar left me with mixed feelings. The monument itself is undeniably beautiful, and the surrounding area has a unique charm. The intricate details and the grandeur of Charminar are worth admiring. It's a great place for history enthusiasts and photography lovers. The view from the top is also quite impressive, offering a panoramic glimpse of the city. However, my experience was marred by the overwhelming crowd of street vendors that has taken over the area. While these vendors add a vibrant touch to the ambiance, they also make the place extremely hectic. Navigating through the bustling streets to get a clear view of Charminar can be a bit of a challenge. If you're looking for a serene and peaceful atmosphere, this might not be the best place to visit. To truly enjoy Charminar, I would recommend taking a taxi or ride-sharing service to get as close to the monument as possible. This will save you from the chaos of parking and the hassle of weaving through the street market. Be prepared for some persistent vendors trying to sell you various trinkets and street food, which can be distracting. In summary, Charminar is a significant historical site that is definitely worth a visit, but the experience can be somewhat marred by the chaotic atmosphere created by street vendors. To make the most of your visit, consider taking a taxi to get closer to the monument and enjoy its architectural beauty without the added hustle and bustle.

The surrounding market, known as Laad Bazaar, adds to the charm, offering a vibrant shopping experience. However, the monument can get crowded, impacting the overall experience for some visitors. Despite this, Charminar remains a symbol of Hyderabad's cultural and architectural significance.

The monument stands tall among the hustle and bustle of the place. However the place is very hard to access, the entire area is overcrowded with people and hawkers. It is a sad sight to see that government has done nothing to keep the area clear around a historical monument.Probably the best time to visit is early morning or midnight when there is no crowd. Heard that Sunday nights are also less crowded.Go to the area if you enjoy the crowds (Note: no parking here)

Charminar, the iconic monument of Hyderabad, is a captivating blend of history and architecture. Its four grand arches lead to bustling markets, offering a glimpse into the city's vibrant culture. Though the monument itself is well-maintained, reaching the top can be a challenge due to the narrow stairs. Visitors should also be aware of the vendors around the monument, who can be quite persistent. However, the overall experience of visiting Charminar is unforgettable, making it a must-visit for anyone in Hyderabad.

Most famous landmark in Hyderabad. The name Charminar means "Four-Towers".The place is very crowded throughout the day. Local shops and street vendors make this place an ideal shopping area. The entry fee is Rs 25 per adult. Payment can be done online also. Currently it's being renovated. A small temple also runs under the Charminar, which definitely shows the cultural diversity of India.

This is one of the significant historical identities of Hyderabad. What a place! This is a must-visit for anyone in the city, and the colors and atmosphere in the evening are superb. I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited, I’d encourage you to avoid them too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the center of the action. There are so many market sellers, although none are too pushy, live performances, and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great; there are so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended.

One of the places not to be missed while in Hyderabad. It is most beautiful at night. We were not able to go inside, but the light up was so beautiful, it was worth it. The area around Charminar is a very busy shopping place. Main business being jewellery and bangles. The bangle stores will dazzle you with their bright display pieces. There are a lot of small eateries also. Be ready to walk at least 1 kM to explore the surroundings

If you are in Hyderabad go visit it’s historic, it’s gigantic and it’s a peace of art. They charge 50rs for the entry inside and you can go up which is worth going. Very beautiful monument... It takes you to relish and appreciate the amazing architecture, each grove, each curve of the monument has been carved perfectly, the view from the top is breathtaking, you'll be able to see the old city of Hyderabad with crowded marketplace, mecca masjid, joyful eateries. The monument still needs better handling. You can easily visit the place using public buses, or other transport based on your preference.

A beautiful place that acts as a Time Machine. I felt transported hundreds of years back as I stood admiring the breath-taking view of the Charminar. The bazaar surrounding the structure is vibrant and offer unique traditional items and an unbelievably affordable price. The roads are narrow and too crowded. But surprisingly I felt good about the crowd! Bargaining skills are highly valued here and one can get great discounts with good bargaining.I wish there was a bit more cleanliness here considering he fact that it is the icon of Hyderabad.Be prepared to face heavy traffic as you approach the minar due to narrow roads. I would recommend coming in an auto or two-wheeler to get the best experience. Also, be aware of pickpockets and thieves. The market is amazingly vibrant, so make sure to explore the various bangles and artificers that are on display.Overall, a great place and a must visit!

Visited A Star Place recently and the experience left me with mixed feelings. The historical monument is undoubtedly a popular spot, with numerous shops, stalls, and a variety of food options surrounding it. However, the monument itself seems to be under construction or renovation, which was a bit disappointing. The entrance fee of 25 per person is reasonable, but considering the thousands of daily visitors, I expected the place to be better maintained. The crowds were overwhelming, making it challenging to fully appreciate the historical significance of the site.It appears that improvements are underway, but as of my visit, the overall ambiance fell short of expectations. Hoping that ongoing renovations will enhance the experience for future visitors.
